The following terms and conditions apply only to the website managed by sole trader Kerry Tedds trading as The Cutting Shed.
These terms & conditions set out the terms between you the customer and us the website owner. Your use of this website and any service contained within constitutes acceptance of these terms & conditions in full. You should not use this website if you do not accept these terms & conditions in full. Your statitory rights are not affected
Customer Details
Please check that your contact information is correct before creating a customer account or proceeding to payment.
It is you (the customer's) responsibility to maintain your own username and password required to access your customer account. You must ensure you store your username and password securely and the details required to access your customer account are not shared with a third party.
You are responsible for the activity carried out within your account. If you suspect that your customer account username and password or other details have been compromised or aware that they have become known to a third party, it is your responsibility to inform us immediately.
Our website is intended for the use of Adults, of whom may purchase products for children as long as the products purchased are intended by the manufacturer for use or consumption by children.
We reserve the right to restrict or remove your access to this website where you breach these terms and conditions. Such restriction or removal will take place without recourse or explanation to you where we solely deem it appropriate or necessary.
Prices
Every effort is made to ensure prices are current, correct and up to date. In the unlikely event that there are any discrepancies, we reserve the right to make necessary adjustments which may result in an adjustment of either an over payment or underpayment (as applicable). The processing of an order may be cancelled or corrected by us at any time up to the point of order having been dispatched.
We reserve the right to adjust prices without notice.
All prices shown on the website are in £ sterling, inclusive of VAT and exclusive of delivery charges. You may pay by any major credit or debit card. We are under no obligation to accept your order. Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change at any time.
Coupon Code
Only one coupon code can be redeemed at checkout at any one time.
Payment
Payment for goods must be made prior to dispatch, we accept credit/debit cards.
Kerry Tedds at The Cutting Shed will not be held responsible for the late dispatch of goods should a payment be declined.
Postage and Packing
A flat rate of £5 is charged for delivery sent by 2nd Class Royal Mail Signed for and this will take about 3-5 working days.
We do not ship outside of the UK
Orders paid will be dispatched within 3 working days (stock permitting). Orders are restricted to the UK only. Our working days are from 09.00 to 17.00 hours Monday to Friday Inclusive. We dispatch orders from Monday to Friday inclusive, excluding bank holidays. Orders which are received on a non-working day will be dispatched on the following working day. We will not be held responsible for delays out of our control.
When you place an order you will automatically receive a confirmation in the form of an invoice within an email from us. Your order constitutes an offer made to us to purchase the goods specified in the order, which will be accepted by us once we have emailed you to confirm the dispatch of your order by way of offering tracking to confirm dispatch.
We reserve the right to delay or refuse orders if a transaction contains incomplete details or details that cannot be verified or where fraud is suspected.
If we are unable to reasonably ascertain these details or resolve these issues a full refund will be made against the card used at the time of purchase. No other form of refund or credit will be offered nor will a refund be made to any third party card or account.
Delivery
We reserve the right to ship products at a later date (up to 28 days after purchase) where the product ordered is not in stock at the time of purchase. In this situation you will be contacted and offered a full refund instead of delivery of the product at a later date.
We cannot be held responsible for disruption to shipping caused by industrial disputes or action outside our direct control. If such disruption occurs you will be offered delivery via an alternative company or a full refund.
Parcels dispatched will require a signature upon delivery, should you not be at the address specified, during normal office hours, please advise us of a an alternative delivery address where someone will be available to sign for the receipt of your parcel.
If you request special delivery instructions where you are unable to sign for the goods, Kerry Tedds at The Cutting Shed will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the goods, therefore you, as the customer, will be responsible for the loss or damage.
Royal Mail considers a parcel lost after 14 working days from date of dispatch. If you do not receive your parcel after 14 days, please email cuttingshed@gmail.com
Kerry Tedds at The Cutting Shed is not to be held responsible for the loss of your order if the delivery address which was provided by you at the time of placing your order is incorrect or incomplete. If your order is returned to Kerry Tedds at The Cutting Shed a delivery cost will apply to re-deliver the parcel.
If you wish to exchange a product a postage cost will apply.
Collection
Orders will be processed within 3 days of your order being placed. You will be advised when your order is ready for collection, and the collection point by email.
Distance Selling
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, all UK customers have the right to cancel orders placed through the website within 14 working days of their receipt of the goods.
Kerry Tedds at The Cutting Shed will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to goods returned via Royal Mail/Courier Service until they are received at The Cutting Shed, 6 Quest Hills Rd, WR14 1RW and we strongly recommend that returns are sent by Recorded Delivery or some other means of a tracked delivery system. Please note we do not refund postage/carriage on goods returned except where goods have been incorrectly dispatched or damaged in transit. See below.
Once we have received the goods in a resalable condition, a refund for the cost of the products only, will be made to your credit/debit card.
Returns/Refunds
If your goods have been damaged in transit please notify Kerry Tedds at The Cutting Shed within 3 days of receipt. The customer must, when signing for the goods, state they are damaged.
Refunds may be given on returned products which are unopened and in a resalable condition. If you wish to return a product, please email cuttingshed@gmail.com. Please see Return Policy.
Cancellation
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have a right to cancel your purchase with 14 days. To exercise this right you must notify us in writing, (email or letter) within fourteen days from the day after you receive your goods, a telephone call is not a valid cancellation.
No right of cancellation, refund or return is available under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 if you have used your product, unless the product is defective and you are returning it for this reason.
If the seal or shrink-wrap has been removed items can only be returned if they are defective.
Right of cancellation is void for personalised goods or goods that are intimate in their nature or goods where there may be hygiene issues, unless defective.
We will also refund the cost of standard or recorded postage incurred returning a product incorrectly sent by us or where the product has been returned due to a defect. Please note that we will not refund any courier, overnight or express element of any delivery or postage charge, including Royal Mail Special Delivery.
If an item is returned to us because you did not collect the item from the local delivery company, or you refused to accept the parcel, then we reserve the right to deduct the delivery and return costs from any refund we process for you.
Customer Complaints
We endeavor to respond to all customer complaints or queries within five working days.
Faulty Products
Where you experience a fault with a product it can be returned to us subject to our returns policy above.
Product Liability
We do not accept any liability for allergic reactions to any products purchased from this site. We recommend a patch test must to be carried out before using a product for the first time, especially those who are particularly sensitive or who suffer with allergies. Where products are stated to be suitable for certain skin types or conditions this is based on manufacturer provided information. It is your responsibility to check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are in any doubt as to the suitability of these products for your particular skin type or condition. We will accept no liability whatsoever for any damage, illness or injury caused by the use, or misuse of any product, including failing to check the suitability or failing to follow the product instructions.
Events Outside Our Control
We shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms & Conditions if the delay or failure is caused by any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of god, war, civil disorder or industrial dispute
